Visiting it completely opened my eyes to the rough life of those who caught and canned salmon. So good to become more aware of the history behind aspects of life we take for granted. There’s a big push to stop the confining of dolphins and whales for our aquarium and to put the focus on rehabilitation and release (if possible) for those injured. I wonder if it would be the same for Monterey Bay Aquarium.
