I got Lasik so I make sure to go to regular check ups. I don’t want my eyes failing on me again. I could not afford Lasik another time.

In reply to lisleman. Yes, they sell it at health food stores and you sprinkle it on your popcorn. It ends up tasting a little nuttier than Parmesan.

In reply to unknownmami. Really yeast on popcorn? I've enjoyed yeast in beer and think there was some in a yogurt I've eaten. Popcorn with sprinkled yeast? I assume you would apply it that way.

I’ll try to remember to keep an eye out for it. Ok now that I got that off my fingertips, I must tell you that I’m surprised to learn that about one my favorite food groups – popcorn. Does flavoring help? I’ve worn glasses most of my life and have had many eye exams. Important organs to take care of.

I love popcorn and raw carrots. And yes, I could also name the parts. 😀 I majored in Zoology in college. The free screening sounds good. If only there was something like that near us. Some opticians offer a free check, but it is not good enough.

My son has a medical condition in both eyes. (surgery #2 next month). I don’t know what we would do without our eye care coverage!

Actually, yes I can identify them. I just went to the eye doctor two days ago. I am getting contacts for the first time.

The free vision screenings would be great, too bad New York is so far from here. Eye care is essential. I for one do not have health insurance but I do see the eye doctor each year. My father lost his sight around age 15 so the 2% vision he was left with was all he had the rest of his life. Good for you to encourage others to care for their sight.
