I love the bilingual signs. Some of our volunteers have children in bilingual elementary and kindergarten here in Honduras. They are so precious as they demonstrate for me how to count and say words in both languages. This will be a precious time for you and your daughter.

It’s an event that some parents miss because of work or whatever. I can’t say I was at all of my kids first days. I do cherish the pictures. I’m also very fortunate to see the grandchildren making those big steps. all the best

Very big day in her life and yours! I’m glad it all turned out so well. I made a big fuss my first day of Kindergarten, the nurse painted pictures on top of my hands with mercurochrome and the principle took me around the school to show me my siblings and cousins in their classes.

I love that you can see the truth in her eyes. I have 2 granddaughters starting kindergarten this year. One started last week without a hitch, the other starts Monday and she has been lobbying for home schooling. She will do fine after a couple of days of drama. Kudos to you and Put Pie both for putting on your brave faces and moving forward.

This, brought tears to my eyes. These are very true words in every aspect of watching your children grow toward independence.
