Put Pie was potty trained before she was 2 and I was hoping Luna Pie would follow the same timeline, but no. Luna tells me she is not ready.

Diapers. Oh my Gosh! When Vidur was little, until he was 8 months old, we did not use diapers. Yeah, I can see your look! We used cloth nappies and went nuts washing and drying and ironing them. Then, the rains began. Nothing would dry in that high-humidity. That’s when a cousin yelled at me and asked if I was mad not to use disposable diapers.  Pampers was the only decent brand available, rather far from where we lived and I had to plan half a day to go n come back. And oh, they were expensive! This was 15 years ago. Then fast forward to when he was 2 years old – the medical stores  in our area had it at a premium, which was okay because it still saved us the commute. Luckily for me, he got potty trained at 2.5 years and stopped wearing the diapers. Of course, being able to play in the bathroom with all the taps open and a lot of soap were the main attraction.

These diapers look pretty. The initial Huggies we got here in India more than a decade ago were not great. So good to know such good stuff is available now.

Give it time and you’ll want both pizza and diapers delivered.
