That’s not a mistake. Linda/o is just meant as another compliment, it’s not written as a translation of “I love you.” I call my daughters “linda” all the time and I call little boys “lindo.” Or I use the words when my kids make something and say that what they made is lindo. It wasn’t written next to I love you as a translation, it was written as a stand alone form of praise, they all were.
