101 Ways to Praise a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Child {Printable}

101_Ways_To_Praise_a_Bilingual_Child-unknownmami_thumb.pngA few weeks ago my MIL sent us a magnet with 101 Ways to Praise a Child on it and I thought it would be nice to create a Spanish/English alternative because praise is nice, but praise in two languages is even nicer.

    Thank you so much for this! I’m bilingual and raise my girls such but sometimes, being the only one around who speaks the language, I feel like my vocabulary is limited. This is such a great help! Totally printing this out for my fridge =)

      I’m sorry I took so long to respond. I do not have a French/English version as I don’t speak French. I encourage you to create one. The response I got from the Spanish/English version has been wonderful.

    Very good work, Unknown Mami. Almost of my North American friends in Tegucigalpa have children. And all are bilingual. What a fun way to reinforce good behavior.

    we saw that in the phase “I love you” the translation is “Linda/o” maybe something was wrong when you typed… because is “Yo te quiero”, we hope you can fix, because is a great idea! gracias! We shared today in our facebook page. 😉

      That’s not a mistake. Linda/o is just meant as another compliment, it’s not written as a translation of “I love you.” I call my daughters “linda(s)” all the time and I call little boys “lindo(s).” Or I use the words when my kids make something and say that what they made is lindo. It wasn’t written next to I love you as a translation, it was written as a stand alone form of praise, they all were.

      Thank you for sharing.
