Tamal Memes Because ‘Tis the Season for Tamales

Hola Chulas y Chulos! How you doin’? Ready for my favorite time of the year? Now, you can call the season “wintertime” or “the holidays,” but those of us in the know call it peak tamal season.

In honor of tamal season, my chancla and I put together some of our favorite memes about tamales for your enjoyment.

Hey, there is something to be said for consistency.

Unwrapping presents is a’ight, but unwrapping tamales is where it’s at. 

They’re always just want you wanted, no returns necessary. 

The problem is that most of us unwrap WAY too many. 

Don’t hate, it’s hard to show restraint.

By the end of peak tamal season, you understand why they say “you are what you eat.”
