Alicias Delicias Mexi-cookies Are Edible Art (The Flying Chancla Report)

The Flying Chancla Report

My chancla and I were scouring the internet to find something to share with you for this week’s The Flying Chancla Report that doesn’t have to do with the man who got elected to be the next President of the United States and we almost gave up until we came across a video on the Pero Like Facebook page about Alicias Delicias.

Alicia Becerra, the incredibly talented woman behind Alicias Delicias, makes hand-painted cookies that are edible works of art. Each cookie is a delectable masterpiece. Many of her creations are what you could call “mexicookies” because of their subject matter. How hilarious is it to think of a cookie as having a subject matter? I love it and so does my chancla.

Just look at some of the examples on her Instagram feed.

Aren’t these cookies the most beautiful cookies you’ve ever seen in your life?  Also, be sure to check out the Super Mamás podcast interview they did with Alicia.

This is the Pero Like video post that turned me on to Alicias Delicias:
