Easy, yes. I have never tasted an avocado. I just looked up the internet to see what they're locally called. Maybe the exotic fruit market will have them. Apparently they're one among the ten super fruits - anti-aging benefits and great immunity builders fighting harmful free radicals. Sigh - they're cultivated in Tamil Nadu, my home state (where I don't live) I'll go looking for them. I am intrigued. Thanks :D One store near our place has all sorts of fruits - but some of them are amazingly expensive and we tend to stick with the large variety of bananas, apples, mangoes and pears.

I like your view to keep the pure avocado flavor, adding other salsa as an accompaniment. I too like avocados, and living in southern California they were plentiful. Not so much here in Nebraska, but we do get them now and then.

In reply to <a href="https://byclaudya.com/easy-guacamole-recipe/#comment-22331">Eternal Lizdom</a>.

Oh no, I'm of the school that there should be no garlic in guacamole. I'm a super-taster and although I love garlic, it overpowers guacamole. If premade guacamole has garlic in it, I won't buy it, especially if it's garlic powder. I've seen too many guacamoles ruined by garlic powder. I'm on the fence about onions in guacamole too, unless you rinse them first. Like I said, I usually have guacamole with salsa on the side which already has all the other stuff in it. I'm telling you serve the mashed up avocados with salt and lemon at a party and I bet you people will rave and ask you for the recipe. It happens to me all the time.

Avocados make me drool ... but most of the time they never make it to be guacamole, I eat them straight up.

Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing spot to dip into some serious goodness.
