I think you should approach Nikon now don’t give up yet! If you get a Cannon we bought my daughter’s at Best Buy and bought the extra warranty. Glad we did and some how she doesn’t know how it dropping lens broke and they replaced the whole camera and it’s a newer version and actually better! Have a wonderful weekend!
