My family and I received press tickets for “Anastasia,” which is at the Golden Gate Theatre through September 29.

So what had happened was that last week, the folks at Xfinity invited a lovely group of Bay Area Latina bloggers and influencers to stop by the XFinity CNET Smart Home in San Francisco to hang out, get pampered and learn more about the new features available to Xfinity X1 customers watching the soccer championship games this year. 

Here’s a short recap of what went down during our visit: 

Mojitos were served 

We got to chat

There was delicious food

There were lots of photo ops

And then we sat down to experience soccer with Xfinity using their new immersive and personalized coverage 

You probably don’t need me to tell you that soccer is kind of a big deal in many Latino households and since the soccer championship games only come around every four years, well, they’re kind of a HUGE deal.

You know what would be nice for someone like me who lives in San Francisco? It would be nice to be able to see the musical “Hamilton” when it comes to town in 2017 for a run at the Orpheum Theatre from March 10 – August 5, but dang it if those tickets are expensive AF and hard to get AF. 

The tickets went on sale to the general public Monday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m.

OMAIGA you guys, on September 12 it was announced that Melissa Villaseñor is one of three new “Saturday Night Live” cast members and everyone (OK, maybe not everyone, but pretty much every Latino who has ever watched SNL) is like “FINALLY a Latina on SNL!!!” Technically she’s the second Latina cast member because Noel Wells from the 2013-2014 season is a quarter Latina, but I digress.
