Why am I sharing pictures of this home on 1415 Shrader Street in San Francisco’s Cole Valley with you? Well, we were at my eldest’s soccer game at a field nearby and my husband had heard that the narrowest home in San Francisco was in the area. Now, I haven’t been able to verify if this is indeed the narrowest home in San Francisco, but I can tell you it is pretty dayum narrow. Look at the car parked in the driveway and notice that the house is not much wider and that is NOT a big car.
The home was built in the 1990s and is about 10 feet wide and 1,030 square feet in total. It’s only got one bedroom and one bathroom, but that doesn’t stop it from being posh as it also has a wine cellar and a backyard with a deck. Nice! I’d love to be able to tour the inside, wouldn’t you?

Wow, that is one narrow house. I saw something like that on one of those HGTV shows once.

That looks very narrow b-even for a Dutchman who is used to narrow houses (when living there). Kind of cute though! Thanks for sharing!

Amazing they can get over 1000 sq/ft into that tiny spot.
