I love the final image, his little quizzical face. Sorry if I don’t comment on many this week but we are holiday in Greece and the internet is terrible. I promise to be back to normal next week.

It amazes me how many people are freaked out by clowns. Not me, I embrace the creepy suckers. I have a friend who’s a clown and she’s an amazing person. So giving and warm. I hope things are going well for you and your family. BTW it’s been like a million years since I’ve had Sat. off and thus time for SIMC. So happy to be back.

Bozo is such an iconic character from my youth. It’s good to see another generation is enjoying him.
Maggie says
I too immediately recognize Bozo, tho I’m liking the clown doll much better.

Happy Sunday!
Robyn says
I’m not sure why I loved Bozo as a kid, but I did. It’s great to see him again.
Be well,

Love Bozo…I remember in the 80’s the saying no more Bozo was big…I had a bozo sticker with a line through it on my bumper of car! Oh the 80’s good times! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Miss Mami, you always take the brightest and best photos. Love all this color.
My goofy Fisherhubby is AFRAID of clowns. Go figure. Whenever a clown is a bad guy in a movie or tv show he says, “See, I TOLD you clowns are evil!”
Vidya Sury says
Yes. I saw it now 😀 I empathize with FH!

I have to say I am another person who isn’t a fan of clowns. If they were all like the guy in the last shot, I could be convinced to reconsider.
Cyndy says
So colorful and bright! =)
Vidya Sury says
Umm…I somehow find clowns spooky. Must be all the scary stories I have read. But your photos are very colorful and fun. Especially the one in the last three photos – they look cheerful!
Keetha Broyles says
Vidya, did you see my comment below? You and FH share a phobia!+

I am wondering – with that beautiful city of yours, what made you pick clowns?
unknownmami says
I have photographer’s block. I just wasn’t feeling the outdoor pictures that I took and the more I took the more dissatisfied I was, so I turned to the clowns in my home.
Lisa@Advent's Adventures says
Sounds like you clowns are having a pretty good Sunday. 🙂 xoxo
Nita says
Great shots, so fun and colorful. Have a great week.

Oh send in the clowns!
I believe Bozo was a Chicago creation. I like the second clown the best. A real clown doesn’t care what position he or she is in.

Love the clowns, really great shots. I joined in today and added my post from Mammoth Lakes.
unknownmami says
That’s great. I’m so glad you linked up. When I saw that post, I thought it would be perfect for SIMC.
Eternal Lizdom says
I’m not usually one to get creeped out by clowns… but those are kinda creepy…
AutismWonderland says
Um…I was so hesitant to read this because of the title. I saw the first few minutes of Stephen King’s IT on Friday and was completely freaked out. I had to change the channel.
Your post kind of freaked me out too. Clowns are scarey. But your photos are fabulous!
My Inner Chick says
Clowns Freak Me Out! I do not like.
Rebecca says
I’ve always wanted one of those big blow up clowns to kick and punch. Odd thing, I’m not really a violent person and never have the desire to kick/hit anyone/thing.

Its funny, seeing people in a clown costume and make-up doesn’t frighten me at all. Neither do photographs of clowns. But seeing a painted image of a clown just gives me the creeps!
Betsy at Zen Mama says
Love your clowns!!
Emmymom says
Funny how clowns can be cute and creepy all at the same time. I recognize Bozo!
Leovi Leovi says
Yes, no doubt you’ve managed to capture the spirits of these beautiful dolls in your beautiful photos.
