I’ve got the perfect gift idea for the bearded men in your life: a Norelco Beard Trimmer 7300 paired with a DIY glitter beard Christmas ornament! Brilliant, right?!
Why do I love this idea? Well, have you noticed that the beard boom is going strong? Oh sure there are plenty who have been claiming that beards have become so popular that pretty soon most beard wearers will shave theirs off, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. I mean I can’t step out of my home without tripping over a man sporting the oh so popular lumbersexual look and truth be told I’m married to a man rocking facial hair and I love it, but just because I don’t want him to shave it off doesn’t mean I don’t want him to keep it looking groomed and that’s where the Norelco Beard Trimmer 7300 comes in handy. As for the DIY glitter beard Christmas ornament—glitter beards are totally having a moment so why not commemorate that moment with an ornament that your beloved bearded person can enjoy year after year?
I found the Norelco Beard Trimmer 7300 at Target in an area called the “Power Grooming Shop” located within the aisle that has all of the men’s shaving goodies.
Why pick this particular beard trimmer over others? Well, because the Norelco Beard Trimmer 7300 has great features like:
- 18 built-in length settings, a comb that is designed to create the perfect stubble
- A digital display that includes battery status and the selected hair length setting
- An integrated vacuum system that captures hairs for less mess, which is always appreciated.
As for the ornament, check out how I made it below.
DIY Glitter Beard Christmas Ornament
Supplies:
- Oversized or large red or color of your choice Christmas ball ornament (the one I used is made of plastic)
- Glitter glue
- Sharpie pen in the same shade as the glitter glue you are using
- Googly eyes
- Glue
Directions:
Make sure your Christmas ball ornament is nice and clean before starting. Use the Sharpie to draw on a beard and mustache. Put the ornament on the open end of a mason jar or place it on top of a cup to keep it from rolling around for the next steps.
Cover the areas that are the beard and mustache with glitter glue, apply the googly eyes to the ornament with glue and let the whole thing dry.
Behold the beautiful ornament you have created! Santa is totally going to have glitter beard envy.
What bearded beauty in your life would you give this gift to?
