A day at the beach in San Francisco rarely involves bathing suits for us. Even when it’s warm the water tends to be FRRRR-EEE-ZZZ-ING. That doesn’t stop people from flocking to the beaches anyway, we just bundle up like we did on our recent visit to Mile Rock Beach at Lands End in San Francisco.
To get to the beach, you have to walk along a trail for about a mile and go down 243 stairs according to the official count, my children swear there are 259. If you ever go, be sure to count the steps and tell me what your final tally came to.
