Mi gente, please let me start by apologizing because The Flying Chancla Report was MIA last week. What happened is that my chancla got bien peda during Noche Buena and the hangover the next morning was about all my chancla could handle. Please forgive us for our lapse and let’s get on with this week’s chanclazos, shall we?

Aquí entre nos can we be honest and admit that although it’s not considered polite to fart in the company of others, it does actually feel good?I bring this up because the little girl in this video has not gotten to the age where she is embarrassed of farting in public and the sheer joy she derives from letting one rip is hilarious. She even seems kind of proud that its stinky. Good for her.

Are you setting any goals or resolutions for the new year? I’ve decided I’m going to do the 52 week money challenge, but BACKWARDS. Have you heard of it? It’s when you set aside an increasing amount of money every week in order to save $1,378 by the end of the year.
So basically on the first week of the year, you set aside $1 to save, then on the second week you increase what you save for the week to $2, and so on and so forth so that by the end of the year you are putting aside $52 dollars to save. The math goes like this: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+(and so on until you get to+52) and it all = $1,378. Check out the picture below to see what I mean.

OK, so what I’m going to do is the same thing, but backwards so that the amount I’m putting aside to save every week gets smaller and easier to do as the year progresses. So this week I put $52 in my savings account and next week I’ll deposit $51 dollars in it and so on and so forth. Why? Because I’d rather get the harder amounts out of the way first. Also, most places suggest you save the money in a jar, but I’m putting it in my savings account so I am not tempted to spend the cash. I got the idea to do the 52 week money challenge backwards from Pocket Your Dollars. Wish me luck and let me know if you are interested in doing it. We could keep each other motivated through out the year.
- Do you remember the first time you tried bacon? I don’t, but I must have loved it because to this day I can’t get enough of it. Check out this little cutie trying bacon for the first time, it’s pretty awesome. #TocinoLove
