So far May has been fantastic to me! Maybe the Universe is aware that it is my birthday month.
I got to go to Parc 55 for National Mom’s Nite Out hosted by Women On Their Way by Wyndham Worldwide. Had so much fun. The best part was hanging out with all the wonderful women there. In particular my guest and friend Marcia, Carol from NYCity Mama, Alexandria from Mommy Beta, and Lauren from Mommy and Baby Food.
I might have gotten a little silly.
I don’t get out much, what can I say?
More wonderful things coming my way in May. I get to spend my birthday weekend in New York as a Britax Latina Advisory Board Member in honor of the opening of the movie, What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Many thanks to my husband without whose help I’d be staying home. It’s amazing the kind of cooperation you get when you look at the one you love, bat your eyelashes, and say, “But it’s my birthday!”
I’m tired so I’ll leave you with a few pictures I took in downtown SF. I never get to go downtown anymore and I rarely go anywhere without my kids so it almost felt like I was on vacation.
And now your Friday Fortune Cookie
(don’t forget to add “in bed” at the end, if you are so inclined):
You gotta be in it, to win it.
Hosted by Mrs. 4444
Looks like your life is full of adventure and fun. Good for you!
So glad all is well for you. You deserve it mama!
Hope you didn’t use up all your pics before Sundays in My City. Glad got that you got some adult time in – so to speak.
Hurrah for you.
Nice!! Sounds like you had a great time 🙂
Hooray for Hubby’s who Help!
Silly? You ? Never…I’m happy you had so much fun 🙂 Enjoy NY for the both of us. Besos!
It would be so much more fun with you there. I guess I’m taking your spot. I’ll do my best to have my hair look presentable, but hair lovers everywhere are bound to be disappointed.
takes the bag off and puts on a mustache – what other face experiments can we expect now that the mami is out of the bag?
My husband and I were talking about CA last night. His aunt who lives there is here in FL visiting. She was telling him about the weather and her new house with a view of the Pacific. We both agreed we could never live there but really want to visit. Your photos really make me want to go, sooner than later. Maybe after this baby makes it’s appearance.
Of course being born and raised in California I am partial, but you really should visit. It has a bit of everything.
I LOVE San Francisco! Happy birthday and have a wonderful time in NY!
Glad to see you enjoying your birthday month! Happy Mother’s Day! xoxo
I’ve never heard to put “in bed” at the end of fortune cookies. Gives them all new meaning! 🙂
By the way … happy birthday month!
May IS being good to you. Enjoy.
Happy Birthday month, Mami!! I hope you have a great time in NYC. It is one of the places we have not been to yet, East Coast!! I am glad you got out, I don’t get out much either. Unless you count grocery shopping, I sometimes get to do that by myself.
Oooooo I’m LOVIN’ the clock on a pillar and the cable car.
You are a hoot and a half with those silly face shots! LOVE that we now get to you know, like ACTUALLY SEE you!
How much fun are you? And you’re even bicoastal. 🙂 The stache is very becoming, but I bet you look great no matter what.
I’d love to take my family to San Francisco — MIL is from San Jose originally — and I know my kids would DIE to ride the trolley!
Claudya, here is my wish for you: that every month is as wonderful as your birthday month. 🙂 Hugs!
For a moment, I thought it was Sunday already!
Oh, I like that wish!
Hi Mami.. love all the photos u took, esp that of the clock-post. I agree nice to be out and about once awhile, for me I hate going out but on rare occasions, would be nice, esp if there’s a friend to walk with..

I’ll answer to that.
