Me & My Blog
Unknown Mami: I hope you don’t mind, but I just don’t feel up to it tonight.
Blog: What do you mean? You’re always up for it, that’s what I love about you.
Unknown Mami: I think I’m getting a headache.
Blog: Come on! We’re talking about blogging here, not sex.
Unknown Mami: I know, but I’m just feeling so tired and uninspired. I’m a disheveled, frumpy, dumpy mess.
Blog: Are you fishing for compliments again? How many times do I have to tell you: THIS FONT DOES NOT MAKE YOU LOOK FAT!
Unknown Mami: If you are going to yell at me, then I’m going to bed.
Blog: Whatever. You’ll be back.
And now your Friday Fortune Cookie (don’t forget to add “in bed” at the end, if you are so inclined):
If you fight yourself, you will always lose.
Heh 🙂 Hope you slept well and that you have a lovely relaxing weekend lined up!
There are some times that I don’t feel like blogging either. I know, hard to believe! It’s usually when I’m sick or tired.
LOve it….you always make me smile! Hope you get some rest and have a wonderful weekend!
Ain’t it the truth…we are our own worst enemy!!!
You always put a smile on this old mug sweetie! :o)
Nite~Nite!
Have a beautiful day sweetie filled with warm fuzzy blessings from above!
hang in there mami, i know this new baby not sleeping and the feeling of the deflated water baloon is just no fun. i am only 9months past it myself. but it gets better, you remember when your other daughter was born??? you get through it and i bet you will be amazing!!!! i do hope you have a better day!!
glad you have such a complimentary blog … hope you got some good rest!
Some days are just like that. I’ve been having far more than I’d like lately too!
heehee, this nice conversation. Very blog/blogger relationship :). We all go back to it for more! HHAAAAA!
You just had a baby; you’re entitled to some recovery time. But yep, blog is right. You’ll be back!
There are days I contemplate deleting my blog. I feel your pain. 🙂
I always have topics I want to blog, just taking the time to get them up is sometimes more than I can afford. Understand.
funny idea – I’m glad I am still in control of the mute button on my computer. Good thing you let your blog have some Friday fun. They do get restless.
That was very clever! Hope you get your rest and get over the headache.
You are so funny!
HAHAHAH! This font does not make you look fat, mami!
I don’t feel like blogging either.
Loved this post, Mami! Witty!
Happy Friday!
B xx
Your blog will be fine if it has a good right hand.
I’m just not feelin’ it either. You’re not alone!
You’ve been eavesdropping on my conversations with my blog again, haven’t you? 😉 Too funny.
Aww. We all have days like this. Just take a good rest. Get some cuddles from those sweet girls. You’ll be back. 🙂 It’s been a tough couple weeks for me too.
So it says if I fight myself I will always lose……….So I’m confused….is asking for help fighting myself or just throwing in the towel fighting myself?
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who converses with her blog! I agree with Blog. You’ll be back!
I’ve had that same argument with my blog. Only she does think my font makes my butt look big.
I know the feeling. My blog has had several conversations with me the last few months. It kept beckoning me. I came back.
*sigh* every now and then I feel like that too!
I have never missed a day though, even when I was out to it in hospital… (my husband did my blog for me!)
Visiting from Sweet Butter Bliss. Love the paper bag! 🙂 Does this font make me look fat – now that is actually one blog joke I have not heard. Hope you get some rest! I am a new follower thanks to SBB guest spotlight. 😉
Sleep depravation will make anyone lose their enthusiasm to keep their eyes open long enough to post. Hope you’ll get some rest soon!
It is that sort of day with mother Nature in such turmoil!
LOL – thanks for the laugh!
Such a vicious cycle LOL.
HA! lol, that’s too cute!
I hope your little ones give you just a little more rest this week. You know it goes by so fast..before you know it they will both be in school:)
On the bright side, being a new mom will buy you at least 6 easy months on the blog front!haha Love you…
I always think blog breaks are wonderful; take one, your blog will be waiting there for you when you come back and refreshed, you’ll be ready to tackle it all again. It has been a stressful few months for you before baby born, post baby born. Relaxing, taking time for family, adjusting is a good thing to do and then come back; your friends will truly understand and be waiting for your return 🙂
betty
Love it! I feel this way a lot…then I usually get a nice comment or someones writes to me personally and then we’re in love again!! Thanks for the laugh!
I think my blog and I are having that same conversation 🙁
I have this same conversation going on in my house.
