Welcome to another edition of I Comment Therefore I Am. Normally, I put together a post from comments I’ve left on other blogs or comments that have been left on my blog. Today, I am doing something totally different. I’m going to ask you to leave a comment on someone else’s blog.
The holidays are not easy for everyone and downright miserable for some. Imagine going through a divorce during the holidays and having it be your first holiday season as a single mom. Tough stuff. This is the kind of stuff that Mediocre Mama is going through.
She’s wondering who will fill her Christmas stocking this year when it used to be her ex that did it. We may not be able to fill her stocking, but hopefully we can at least fill her inbox with a few encouraging words. She is a strong woman and I know she will get through this, but during difficult times we can use all the support we can get. Even the kindness of strangers help.
So could you pretty please click the link and give her some comment love? I’d be most grateful.
That’s it for this edition of I Comment Therefore I Am.
Do you give good comment? Wanna play along? Go forth, spread the comment love, and turn it into a post (I keep a draft post open while I read blogs throughout the week). Recycle, reuse, and reduce my friends; it’s the wave of the future.
Oh and feel free to comment on my comments otherwise how will I know that you exist.
If you play along please link back and/or post the button below. Spread the love, spread the love! You can grab the button code from my sidebar.
done! xoxoxo for you, sugar, for thinking of your friend in need. ;~D
On my way to spread a little comment love!
Thanks for the suggestion. I commented, therefore I am?
Left some love.
Speaking of love-I love you. Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays. Big {hugs} and squeezes. Thinkin’ about ya!
Such kind thoughts. Happy Holidays to you, too.
I’m going to go visit her right now.
Merry Christmas to you!
I have difficulties every year at Xmas. I lost my dad a couple of days before Xmas.
I think Xmas time is the hardest time of all to lose the people we love.
I shall be sure to click the link.
Here’s hoping this will be the happiest Christmas ever To you and yours!
B xx
Sending you love, my wonderful friend.
i gather she moderates her comments since i didn’t see many there. I left one.
Oh, Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad to you and your great family.
You are an awesome friend! I left one but I don’t know where it went. Hopefully she knows we are all thinking of her (-:
Okay so i’m now blubbering like a baby in my cubicle causing co-workers to judge. Your support mean so much to me, and that of all your readers who were kind enough to stop by and lend their kind words. Thank you guys so much for adding a bright spot to something of a dull holiday season. All of you who have been through this and worse stay strong too. We are all strong broads with lots to be thankful for. For one thing, I now have all sorts of new blogs to check out! Thanks again guys and especially to you Mami!
Love ya!
I know a lady who was never married or had kids…and she’s LDS, so it was a big deal to her. She has the WORST time at the holidays, it’s hard to try to make her feel even partially better too.
I think it’s so great you’re doing this for her! Off to leave some comments.
I’m heading over there now. This is a great idea. There are some of us out there who need a little extra love this holiday season and I’m all for giving it. Thanks for thinking of your friend.
Just visited her. Breaks my heart because I’ve been in her shoes. You are truly a kind and caring person to reach out and send us her way. Bless you. XX
Very kind of you, Mami, pass along this info about a friend in need.
A friend in need – you’re so kind to think of her…
I’m thinking… two more months for you, isn’t it? hooray!!!
I am going to set up something that will be sent to your friend on Xmas day by email. An e-greeting or something.
Thank you!
I love your heart. I truly do.
