Books aren’t the only reason libraries are fun.
San Francisco, CA.
I showed you mine, now show me yours.
Share your city/town/suburb/you name it! Think of this as a photography carnival or photography meme (with or without words) that not only lets you share your part of the world, but lets you visit other parts of the world virtually. If you link up, please link back or post the Sundays In My City button either in your post or sidebar to let people know that other bloggers are sharing their communities too. Happy trails!
Let’s travel the world together!

I love your close-up images. And yes, there is so much more to libraries than just books! You did such a great job capturing so many wonderful things little ones can get into in the library. Inspired me to check out Seattle’s downtown library soon with my little guy.
I love libraries! There’s a special smell and feeling…like all the books would like to reveal their stories in my head. Unfortunately we can’t scan books yet, would save a lot of time.
Your girls are so cute…Happy Sunday!
I love libraries! Erik is still too destructive for library time but Liam loves it!

Wow. Louisiana doesn’t have libraries like that. Honduran libraries don’t even have books to check out. Just a few libraries in the entire country. And the books can’t leave.
I don’t know…I think every blogger in heaven wants an iPad. but I guess I laptop will have to do for now.
What a cool library! We love our library but it doesn’t have anything like that.

That is a very cool set of pictures. Thanks for being such a great host!
When my kids were little we used to love going to the library. Your library looks like a fun place to hang out too.
Fun! Your girls are getting so big….Have a wonderful Sunday!
Lovin’ the leopard-print shirt 🙂
Voted again, too 🙂
That looks like so much fun! I love the library.
A library is a wonderful place to be at any age!
great pics of a great place to be.
Hey Claudya! I enjoy these entries, and today’s is no exception. I loved libraries when I was a kid, and it’s nice to see your little one enjoying them too. I’ve added a link back to the SUNDAY IN MY CITY I did a while back; I must do a new one soon! Indigo x
I ADORE her leopard print top. So cute!

Well, you know I love the library! So many great activities, plus I think its a necessary part of childhood to be surrounded by lots of books 🙂 I love the felt figures! So bright and colorful! And I have mentioned how much I adore your daughters’ hair? I just love that curly hair, probably because mine is straight as can be…
I’m pretty enamored of their curly hair. I hope they grow up loving it too.
What a great reminder of the wonder of libraries! And your little ones are adorable.
So precious! Love the curls. Libraries are wonderful so much to see and learn.
nice…my boys love the library and had a blast as well in all the programs growing up there…the lady that ran them just retired and they were sad to see her leave….
It looks like it likes me now…..I hope this works for you. Your pics of your beautiful little girls are wonderful!
That library looks super fun!! My boy would have a blast!!
Love how she’s concentrating on that orange wheel.
This community was so determined to have a library and the state wouldn’t provide one that they built it themselves in ’94. They’ve since become a part of the county library system, but continue to be staffed by volunteers (with volunteer led storytime) and have local fundraising to provide new books, computers and so forth.
As far as I’m concerned libraries are vital to a community.
I like those pictures. The best way to learn is to play.
Voted! Looks like fun and I love the curls on the girls.
Sweet moments here, my friend. Loves those tiny hands!
Lovely photos. So charming! I am late again for SIMC. But I was away Sat and Sun and have been down with a stomach bug today. It is a good thing there’s time before the linky ends.
I never consider you late. Sundays are not meant to be rushed.
