Last weekend was kind of a big deal. My eldest learned to ride her bike without training wheels. It’s big girl time! Her little sister rode along on her balance bike until the back wheel popped so loud it sounded like an explosion.

Thats awesome! It’s a very big deal. We still cannot convince Little Diva to let us take her training wheels off.
Congrats!

dropping the training wheels is a big step. For some these days the riding progress continues to those BMX? stunt bikes. Really crazy stuff. I once did a flip on a stringray/banana-seat bike. Landed on my back but the ground was soft and my bones young. Thanks for reminding me of that. I sure don’t want to go back to training wheels as I age.

Awesome! Such exciting times, although I can’t imagine how scary that popping tire was for your youngest.

Ohhh my, they are big girl now. Even my oldest, Yvette, who is 10 is still scared. But my 5 year old, Eliada wants to take off her training wheels already. 🙂
