Sidewalk art? I would think one needs to watch yourself closely so as not to meander into traffic while admiring the art.

Very interesting art for a sidewalk! They look like wood cut stamps. I can’t imagine taking the time to make a mosaic just to say “no skateboarding”

I like the Russian nesting dolls. Always lovely to glimpse The City through your lens. One day soon I will participate in SIMC again, I miss it.

Interesting indeed!
I can never be as creative 🙂 Ah…pictures are a far cry for me as being a freelance writer time always falls short, though I enjoy watching them. :)Thanks for sharing. 🙂

As I have said before we don’t have enough street art in my little town…although the no skateboarding sign would make my son very sad!

The no skateboarding sign makes my husband pretty sad, but he’d probably disregard it anyway.

How interesting! Love the first one!
Happy Sunday!

The skateboarding mosaic is actually very pretty. I like the Russian dolls too.

Yes, they are! Hahah. I just read @teguzchica:disqus ‘s comment – she’s right – because I know exactly what happens when I walk, admiring the art and not noticing where I am stepping in my area! 😀 The first pic looks like those Gorbachev dolls – I have a couple but these are native to our place.
Loved the art, Claudya! And I missed a glimpse of your girls in the photos! 🙂

I haven’t joined in this for so long and I’m not sure my post quite fits the theme here but still it is my stuff in my city so what the heck.
Love your photos as always, have a lovely Sunday!
unknownmami says
I’m pretty open to taking artistic liberties with the theme.

ha that is a pretty cool mosaic for no skateboarding….saw one of these art pieces today on a powerbox and missed getting the snap cause we were moving at the time…it was of an indian in a bears pelt…

Good evening, Mami.
These sure beat the graffiti we get in our cities or the one’s in the women’s loo!

Love all the photos! Wonder if kids skateboard by the last one…

I love those stencils!

Spray paint I think. You don’t need to worry about the rain washing it away like the caulk. Some of the hills you have in SF would make looking for sidewalk art a strenuous hike.
From Tracie says
I like cool sidewalk art.
Emmymom says
How cool are those!! Do you know if they were done with a stencil?
Nancygraycejinks says
That is so neat! I’m afraid our sidewalks are boring in comparison.
Bmanousos7 says
