Oh, I love guerrilla knitting! Such a cheerful way to beautify a city or town…
I did not notice that while I was out there. Very cool and colorful.
You really make me want to visit your city! One of these days…
Knitted street art! Now that is impressive! : )
Love those knitters! What a great way to beautiful the city and make people smile.
Thanks for sharing! xo jj
That’s kind of cheery!!
Well that’s certainly different. And colorful.
I have never seen knitted street art up close. It is so cool. It makes me wonder how they get it on there. They must have to sew up a seam by hand. Anyway, it is great. You know how much I like your city. LOTS.
I’m wondering the same thing. My guess is velco that’s stuff it good for just about anything. Almost as good as duct tape which would be another option.
No, if you visit the post I linked to, they mention sewing them on.
thanks for clearing that up. I sure hope they are careful. Maybe they should wear reflective safety gear while sewing. It would be awful to be hit by a car while sewing. Oh you should design a sewing ahead warning sign for them.
I love knit graffiti we have loads of it here. Looks a bit blustery and cool over your way
I love this, you’d never see anything like this where I live. Too fun. Graffiti street art sure, guerrilla knitting… not so much.
haha thats cute! i will be out there the 19th for the Raiders game! Can’t wait. I am a die hard fan. I’m going to spray paint my hair half Silver… thats gonna be an awesome Sundays in my City Post. I will have to label that Adults only.. you know how we do it in Oakland, haha!!
I think those guys are a blast. I love it.
I hope no one minds that I chose my parent’s home town to write about. I just spent one week there for Thanksgiving…the last in their house because they’re moving!
It is almost like the person is walking the wrong way in the first shot! Great capture. I’ve been down an arm so not alot of shooting and not hooking up with SIMC lately. Hopefully by Jan I can.
I have never seen these before!
That is awesome and different. Someone actually took a lot of time to do that!
That’s wild.
Your city never ceases to amaze me… 🙂
What a neat idea! We need that in Chicago! Burr…
Wait. That top picture?! That is HILARIOUS!!!!
I’ve seen those in Helsinki too. Great idea…
I’m still in Helsinki. Been busy meeting family and friends.
Today it’s really cold, with wind -4F!!!
I love that, that’s so freakin’ cool!
Hiya, just a note to tell you to stop by my blog today! Something on there for you!!
That is pretty awesome… So now you can put your tongue on it and it won’t get stuck! lol
Um… I still wouldn’t. You’ll get lint in your mouth. Just saying.
That is all types of cool…
What an awesome use of yarn:) I love that…..gives me ideas for warming up our own posts around my neighborhood in Christmas designs:)
Thanks again for having us all converge here! I really love looking through everybody’s pictures!!

People in San Fran are pretty wealthy if they can afford to keep the street signs warm. Around here, we have problems keeping the KIDS warm, much less street signs, wow!
