I know I am not the only person that goes to Target for one thing and ends up buying something I never intended to buy because there are many memes about it. Still, it never ceases to amaze me how Target can distract and tempt me with other items to the point that I sometimes end up leaving the store without what I came to get in the first place. Case in point:
The other day hubby and I went to Target for something other than this gigantic bunny.
But the bunny was so cute and we just knew that our youngest would love it, so into the shopping cart the bunny went.
Forget about what we came to buy, I wanted a freakin’ pic with this cuteness!
Yes, I absolutely forced my husband to take a picture of me with the bunny because OF COURSE I DID.
The bunny caused an equity problem though because we have two kids.
You can’t give one kid a big ol’ huggable stuffie and leave the other one with nothing to snuggle up to, but we didn’t want to give them identical stuffed animals and I knew I had seen an equally large duck at another Target, so off we went to another Target around the corner where we found the duck.

Both duck and bunny were forced to ride around with us for a bit.
If we had known that we were going to buy two huge stuffed animals we would have headed home immediately afterward, but remember that we went to Target with no intention of buying these critters.
By the time we got home, duck and bunny were beat.
I tucked them into the girls’ bunk beds so they could rest until the girls got home.
Am I mad at Target for suckering us into buying something other than what we went in to buy?
Not even a little bit.

I am not a shopper and do not like these big stores but that doesn’t mean I haven’t fallen victim to buying stuff I never planned on.
