Hey guys, this post is part of a compensated campaign in collaboration with Comcast and #WeAllGrow Latina Network where I get to share some deets about new features Xfinity X1 customers who are big into fútbol get to use.
So what had happened was that last week, the folks at Xfinity invited a lovely group of Bay Area Latina bloggers and influencers to stop by the XFinity CNET Smart Home in San Francisco to hang out, get pampered and learn more about the new features available to Xfinity X1 customers watching the soccer championship games this year.
Here’s a short recap of what went down during our visit:
Mojitos were served
We got to chat
There was delicious food
There were lots of photo ops
And then we sat down to experience soccer with Xfinity using their new immersive and personalized coverage
You probably don’t need me to tell you that soccer is kind of a big deal in many Latino households and since the soccer championship games only come around every four years, well, they’re kind of a HUGE deal. Just to put it in perspective: In 2014, over 32 million Latinos in the U.S. tuned in to watch the soccer games, that’s about 80 percent of Latino households. Like I said, the games are kind of a HUGE deal and Xfinity is treating them like the HUGE deal that they are!
New Xfinity X1 features include:
- Screens, menus and voice commands available in both English and Spanish
- Integration of all live linear coverage from Telemundo and FOX with full-game replays, highlights, web video, real-time analytics and on-screen player and team stats
- For the first time ever Xfinity TV customers can get notifications on their TV or mobile phone letting them know when their favorite teams are about to play
Press play to watch a video recap of our visit with Xfinity and to check out what some of our favorite new features are. (Note: Just between you, me and the entire internet, my husband was not too happy with what I said was one of my favorite features. 🤷🏽♀️)
