Hello, my fellow strivers and wishers! I hope life is treating you well and that you’ve seen some of your wishes come true. It’s time to make some Wednesday Wishes to let the Universe know what we would like it to send our way.
Here’s what I’m wishing for this week:
1. Can I get a little cooking inspiration up in here? I feel so uninspired when it comes to cooking lately. It’s terrible. I draw a complete blank and it’s no good because I gotta eat, my family has got to eat and food does not cook or prepare itself. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

2. I want to form a new business partnership with a particular company. Universe, I will whisper it to you, but it would not be a good idea for me to write the name of the company I want to partner with at this particular time. Let’s just say we are in touch and seem to be fond of each other and are exploring ways of working together so can you please help to make this a collaboration that is beneficial to both parties? Gracias.

3. I want more time to do nothing. This is something that is doable. I like to go on and on about how I always have something to do, but the truth is that there is time in my life to do NOTHING, to sit and contemplate or meditate without having to get anything done, but I don’t let myself have that time.
What are you wishing for this week? Don’t be shy, go on and wish.

I know bloggers don’t always want opinions on what they post. I’ll take a chance and “offer” an opinion. Your 3rd wish – do nothing – I think you are viewing this wrong. Unless you are in a coma you are doing something. Now the thinking, creative ideas, decision making, dreaming or whatever is spinning around your neutral network might not be noticeable to others. Actually those very close to you probably can detect this activity going on. Maybe instead of “nothing” you should think of it as mind/thought exercise. BTW, did you know thinking burns calories? Not much I guess, I mean I should be as thin as rail by now from all my thinking but still. All the best.

We’re on the same wavelength. By do nothing I mean more “unscheduled” time to let my mind and creativity play instead of feeling like I should go do the dishes or fold some laundry. I’m always doing something, it’s just that sometimes I want my brain and body to do whatever they want to do without me guilting us into doing some kind of unrewarding chore.

Recipes? ANYTHING by Ina Garten. Her recipes are full-proof and fairly simple. You can find her on Foodnetwork.com. I made the Roast Chicken a few days ago. And, in colder weather her short ribs are amazing!
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you on #2.

Thank you! That is perfect. I will bookmark. Today I’m going to make stuffed eggplant because I joined a farm share and they are sending me eggplant so I have to make it. I have been wanting to make short ribs, so woo hoo for your suggestion.
