1 to 4

I was one and then you came along and we became 2.

2 was the best until we were ready to become 3.

3 was phenomenal until we wanted more, so we became 4.

4 feels just right.

And for years I thought I was bad at math.
How’s your math?

I haven’t taken a math class since high school… And I haven’t been able to count past 1 since my divorce.

Let’s see:  I was 1, then I added 1 and became 2;  the 2 became 3 and then the 3 became 4.  Then 1 was gone, and I was back to 3; then I added 2, and we became 5.  Now 3 have left to form their own number combos and WE are 2 for the first time!

4 was right for us for a little while but in the end it became 5 which was even more right for us.

Four is good. That’s the monkey family number as well.

It sounds to me like your math adds up just perfectly for you.

    Mine is very good!
    1 + 1 = 2
    2 + 4 = 6
    6 – 1 = 5
    5 + 1 = 6 again
    6 + 2 = 8
    8 + 2 = 10

    THEN add
    6 more grandchildren  = 16 !

I hope there are many more additions to my family too!

you need more than 1 because otherwise the parents always know who did it.  We had a few  more but it’s not a decision that applies the same to everyone.

My math is horrible!  Probably just as bad as my Spanish 😉

We’ve been 3 for a long time and I’m thinking it will stay that way.
