3 Quotes by Cesar Chavez & His Legacy in Less than 3 Minutes

Cesar Chavez quote about the struggle

Cesar Chavez quote

Cesar ChavezCesar Chavez Day is not a federal holiday yet, but I am lucky enough to live in the state of California where along with the states of Colorado and Texas it is a state holiday. Cesar Chavez Day is observed on March 31, the day that this great man was born.

Maybe you know all about Cesar Chavez and his contributions, maybe you kind of sort of know about him, maybe you’re not all that sure about who he is or what he did, maybe his name makes you think of murals, marches, and farmworkers, but not much else. Regardless of where you stand knowledge-wise, I highly recommend watching this video that in a little over 2 minutes describes the life of an American hero that we should all know about and teach our kids about.

Here are some Cesar Chavez related links you may want to check out!

Great video clip. I knew who he was (workers rights) but didn’t know about where he came from or the the hunger strike.

I think they did such a great job of presenting his life and accomplishments in such a short video.
