I watched all 13 episodes of Orange is the New Black last week and it was the best thing I’ve watched in ages. I am going to read the book while I wait for season 2.

That’s the worst thing about a Netflix binge, is having to wait for the show again. I’m only letting myself watch it when I ride my exercise bike. So it ends up being one episode at a time for me.

Wow. You know someone in the book! I knew someone in the book, Running with Knives. It’s a cool moment to recognize someone in a book.

Yeah, she talks about a man named Joe Loya who wrote to her in prison. He once sent me the nicest email after seeing my in a play. It was so nice I actually still have the email and that was many years ago. Now, I’m going to read his book next. I hope they have it on Nook.

Yeah, it’s doing the same thing to me right now. UGH! Well, I’ll tell you what the 5 things are, my new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, a pair of leopard ballerina flats from TOMS, a toilet seat that has a kiddie toilet seat already attached, Orange is the New Black on Netflix, and Orange is the New Black book. Thank you for the vote.

I love the slideshow widget. Jealous. I loved the book and Netflix series about the lady who went to prison. I used to visit and encourage women in a local jail in Lousiana a long time ago. The women with children were very discouraged. Young ladies, barely out of their teens, were so frightened and ashamed to be in prison. It was very sobering to see life on the inside. I remember celebrating Christmas with the inmates. Christmas celebrations really are important in prison for hope.
