When most people think of spending a day at the beach in California, they probably picture sun and bathing suits, but as you can see that is not always the case. Most of the time when we go to beaches in the Bay area, we’re bundled up from head to toe because brrrrr.
This weekend we took about a 30-minute drive from San Francisco to Moss Beach in San Mateo, CA. It was cold, grey and wonderful. The girls had fun running around, playing in the sand, getting dirty and collecting seashells.
Just goes to show that a day at the beach need not be sunny or hot to be fun.
