Nori at This Casual Life is giving out homework and I have always been the kind of nerd that does their homework so I am responding to her assignment which consists of the following questions:
How many kids do you have?
One beautiful 10 month old daughter.
One thing you love about being a mom?
My daughter.
One thing about motherhood that you could do without?
Getting up early and always being tired.
One thing you absolutely love about your husband/partner?
His person.
One thing you just can’t stand about him?
His stinky farts, especially when I’m sleeping. Once, I was having a great dream and just when it was getting good I said, “It smells like shit in here.” I woke up and it smelled like my husband’s stinky farts. He ruined my dream!
Why do you just LOVE blogging?
I love to act, but since becoming a mother I haven’t been able to do it. Blogging gives me a creative outlet and I can commune with other creative people. The best part is that I don’t even have to audition.
Why do you feel blessed right at this minute?
The world is in a state of chaos, but I have food, shelter, and love. I’m lucky.
What is friggin’ annoying you at the moment?
Nada-nothing.
Favorite part of the day?
Right after Put Pie goes to sleep for the night. I get to relax and be just for me. If I didn’t get this time for myself, I wouldn’t be a very good mother the rest of the time.
One thing you’re good at?
I’m a good friend.
Your most prized possession (materialistic)?
I love my stuff and stuff in general, but in the end it’s all just stuff.
What’s your favorite thing to see/read in other people’s blogs?
I live for laughter. When a post makes me laugh I feel grateful.
Favorite TV show?
I love Flight of the Conchords.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I don’t like isms (racism, sexism, etc.)
Share a favorite picture. Why is it your favorite?
I’m not going to share a favorite picture because then I would have to show you my face and you might turn to stone, but I’ve been drawn to a series of images called “Tormenta” by Gronk for many years. They always feature a woman with her back to the viewer. I find them arresting.

fascinating.Oh, and I agree. Blogging is a way to connect with other creative peeps. :)-Francesca
