About once a year, my husband goes and buys a container full of sleeping ladybugs to release into our backyard. We like to invite out daughters’ friends over to help us release the ladybugs. Our guests were quite comfortable wearing the ladybugs whereas my own daughters preferred not to have them crawling all over them.

Nice ladybugs, perfect to ward off insects from plants !!
Ive never seen so many lady bugs!
While I do find ladybugs quite cute, THIS MANY kinda creeps me out a bit! haha.
Oh wow, that’s a lot of them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many.
Didn’t know you could buy them:)
That is so cool!!!! What a great idea to do with the kids– and the environment!

That’s an awesome thing to do! At one house we rented, I think ladybugs lived in the outer walls because they were everywhere!! But it was not a bad thing.
So many, so pretty! But I am with your girls! I’d rather see them than have them all over me! I once saw a lovely ladybug cushion in IKEA. Have a photo of it somewhere.
I love ladybirds! (what we call them), so good to see them here, none yet but Spring is on its way!
I love ladybugs!
