It has been a crazy, busy, exiting week. It started off with a trip to Nestlé Headquarters in Glendale, CA for a wonderful exploration of Día de los Muertos celebration possibilities. Here’s a little photo collage of the experience.
I also filmed the inaugural webisode of a new monthly feature, “7 Minutes Online with Unknown Mami” where each webisode I will interview another blogger for 7 minutes. I think it went really well and I’m looking forward to doing more. It’s a great way to highlight bloggers that I love. It streamed live on my Google+ page via the Hangout on Air feature and automatically uploaded to my Youtube account so you can watch it even if you missed the live airing.
And the biggest news of the week is that we may have FINALLY found a preschool for Put Pie. If everything works out (keep your fingers crossed) she will be starting next week. It’s a lovely school and Put Pie really liked it.
Aghhh! I almost forgot!!! It’s our 5 year wedding anniversary today (Oct. 5th).

Happy Anniversary – the webisode will be monthly then, I’ll be looking forward to the next one. The technology to easily and inexpensively create a webisode is amazing when I think about it.
You have an incredible smile!! You emulate such coolness. Seriously, I am not joking.
What I DO have to joke about though is the captioning. Your video was captioned, which I was excited about… until it started talking about the excitement of a cat on crack? I knew that had to be way off! The captioning might have been going off phonics or something. I got a kick out of that!! There were a few things off-color like that but I know that’s not the essence of the talk you were giving.

Okay, I am laughing so hard right now. This is the first time I’ve done one of these recorded hangouts and somehow I enabled CC, but I didn’t check it after the fact for accuracy and it is RIDICULOUS. It makes no sense and makes it seem like I am talking about the strangest things. I hope no one thinks we actually said some of those things.

I tried to stay up to midnight to view your 7 minutes of fame. I really did try! I fell asleep with the laptop on me at 10pm. Yes! I am that lame!
Don’t do that next time. You can always just watch the video after the fact. It’s your safety I’m worried about.

Happy Anniversary!! And yay, for Put Pie. 🙂 I am working this weekend. It’s rare, but we have a big group of travelers that might need assistance. That’s one of the cons of working from home. We are easy recruits. 🙂
