I was born and raised in California. I absolutely adore this state. I love it with all my heart. Sadly, California is burning … again.
Just to give you an idea of the magnitude, here’s a screenshot from the Cal Fire website.
Like I said, California is on fire. To say that it is bad is an understatement. People and animals are dying, homes are being destroyed and the air is toxic in many places.
We are fortunate that we are not in an area that is on fire. Even so, the air is so bad where we live right now, that we haven’t left the house in two days. Tomorrow we are going to drive to my brother-in-law’s home where the air quality is at “moderate” as opposed to the “unhealthy” air quality we’ve been in.
