I am so mad that there is not a Trader Joe’s anywhere in my area. Sad clown face.

I wait like a hype at the methadone clinic for Christmas Jo-Jo’s. On opening day (usually after Thanksgiving) the TJ staff pyramid the boxes up on a display. I grab two, but I want four, and spirit them away.

The sweet sharp smell of fresh peppermint releases when I tear open the box. I always inhale the middle before I bite into this chocolate peppermint dream. The empty box is under the bed and the other one is for the kids, in the fridge. I try to restrict my TJ visits to twice a week.

Drool! No Trader Joe’s here but we have our own yummy versions of these treats. Can NEVER stop at one. There’s a cheese cream version now. Sigh.

I’m so glad Trader Joe’s is too far from my house for me to get these.  Maybe you should mail me some.
