It’s Hispanic Heritage Month, which is the perfect time to celebrate Latino culture. Now, I don’t know about you, but when I was growing up a celebration wasn’t a celebration without some singing involved. There are two songs that I clearly remember my mom singing to me when I was a child. The first one is the elefantitos song.
The second one is the pollitos song.
When I had kids there was no doubt that I would be singing those two songs to my kids as well because when you grow up listening to these songs they become a part of your heart and of course, you want to pass that part of your heart down to your children.

What makes it all more fun is that the songs are in both English and Spanish. I’d only ever heard some of these songs in Spanish before; it took Canticos to teach me how to sing them in English.
