Ceramics Class at the Randall Museum (Sundays In My City)

Drop-in ceramics class at Randall MuseumThis actually happened on a Saturday. The Randall Museum has drop-in ceramics classes that cost all of $6. It’s possible that I had more fun than my kids had and they had a lot of fun. That wonky looking turtle above is my creation. It’s not perfect, but I love it!

San Francisco, CA.

I showed you mine, now show me yours.

That’s…um….a very unique turtle! I think you should keep going back and develop your talent!haha Seriously, though, I would love that. I was just thinking tonight that I’d like to make Ted a plate on which to feed him dinner (I read that eating from a deep bowl can be a reason he might be eating [too quickly] and throwing up afterwards. Thanks for hosting! 🙂

Self-made turtle is better than bought one! 🙂
I know how fun it is to create something from clay or white paper and watercolors…
    Happy Sunday!

Your turtle has great personality. There is a ceramics shop near me, and I’ve been wanting to go back for a while. This was inspiring.

Oh, what fun! I’ve got a collection of ceramics “creations” of my own from the kids’ elementary school art classes. A few look a tad like your turtle. 🙂

How awesome! I love programs that encourage art as well as show it.

Oh.. I really love your turtle too! I tried to make an ash tray once, even though i don’t smoke 🙂 It was unrecognizable as an ash tray, but your idea encourages me to think about going back for another lesson. Thanks for hosting, Claudya. This is such a fun meme.

It is so cute! We recently went to a crafts fair where they had pottery classes for a fee. What fun it was. I love the photo of your girls!

LOL, I love the turtle too! Even before I read you made it. Ceramics are fun if you can get past having your hands all messy and gooey. 😀
    Have a wonderful Sunday!
