I’m back from Miami.
I’m tired.
Traveling with a toddler, even one that was exceptionally “good”, is exhausting. Re-instituting a schedule for said toddler, once home, is trying, tedious, and terribly tough.
Normally on Mondays I bring you, “I Comment Therefore I Am”, but I didn’t do much commenting last week. Fortunately, I still was. I did not cease to exist even though I was not commenting. I was a little scared that if I stopped commenting I might evaporate and all that would be left of my online self would be an empty paper bag. “I Comment Therefore I Am” will be back next week.
Today, I will share a few more pictures I took during our trip.
Having a hard time leaving a comment? Email me.
Glad to have you back! Thanks for sharing the pics! Looks like yall had some goooood times!!
Dee
Welcome back! I love those vintage pictures, and as for your little one's pics a big WOW!
Hope you have a great week ahead!
B xx
Glad to see you made it back. I sometimes have difficulty getting a regularly scheduled post together, and I sometimes feel like I let my fans down if I miss a week. But considering you were away, I think people will forgive you.
Getting the kids back on schedule is so tough. Rest up!
Oh, the memories you just brought back for me. I was lucky enough to be only 10 feet away from Celia Cruz when she played an outdoor concert here 30 years ago. I was so young, and that woman could move better than I could ever move in my youth.
She exuded so much sexiness without being vulgar or crass.
It was the show of a lifetime…
Glad to have you back!
Love the pics…and your lil one's curls! Hope you had fun.
Best,
Tina
P.S. Is it a bit sad and freakish that I have a new goal to be a part of you “I comment…” feature? Tee hee hee! 🙂
welcome back. some great pis of the trip. get some rest…
Welcome back home, the little one will soon return to routine!
Glad you had a good time and I enjoy looking at your pictures. Thanks. Take care. xxx
Aww, you wouldn't disappear!
I understand where that thought comes from though, I'm always afraid I'll disappear too.
Lovely pictures!!!
No it's not freakish. We should all have goals.
Welcome back! Life will go back to normal soon and then it will be time to take another trip.
I'm jealous…wish I could blast out to Miami, I'd do nothing else but scuba dive and drink tequila. Welcome back/
More great Miami pictures. That seascape makes me want to die as it snowed here today… on May 24th. Yes, I am bitter about it.
wonderful pics
Oh, that water! Gorgeous!
What a beautiful water view! I'm looking forward to some summer fun. Counting down the days until school is out and the pool is open!
Hope you had a wonderful trip. Your pictures are great.
I have an urgent prayer request at arise 2 write.
andrea
I'll bet you had the best time ever!!! I've never been to Miami, but I would LOVE to!
Beautiful. Welcome home. I hope it was a successful trip.
Welcome home! Pictures look like you had a great time.
Look like a great trip. Love the art in the pics!
Your photos, both today's and yesterday's, are muy grande. It looks like Put-Pie was on the go go go, doing and learning new things. It's no wonder Mami and Papi are pooped.
The mosaic tiles are so wonderfully colorful, and I know Mexico City is filled with them.
One question out of curiosity: Are the cigars made in Cuba?
Welcome home! I can't wait to hear stories from your trip. But yes, without question — you still are even when you aren't around to comment. (But that doesn't mean we don't miss you and your comments!)
🙂

Welcome home! That picture of the ocean is so unbelievable. I wish I was there!
Great photos! I would be jealous of the beautiful weather but as it's 90 degrees and humid here in Chi-town, I guess I've got summer too. 🙂
Have an Extraordinary Day!
Great pics! Your little one is so cute.
Glad you made it home safe and sound. Rest up!
good to know your trip went well.
I just wondering – does Put Pie ever give you and her dad any good comments? It would be fun to hear some good ones and if she thinks like her mom – well what can I say.
Welcome back! Looks like you had a great time. Hope you get your little one back on schedule quickly :o)
Ha. Your photos had me cracking up and then that sweet little curly headed child of yours popped up and Oh, it made my heart happy.
Glad you're back and ready to blog. You are ready to blog, right? 🙂
What great images to honor Cuban heritage!
The little one is so cute!! Looks like you had a great trip!
Welcome Home!! I love the photo of your little peanut running–so cute! 🙂
I know your trip was so much more fun because your husband and daughter went to Miami with you. You got some nice photos while you were there and I bet you have more to share with us. It is a good tired when you get home from a fun and full trip. I so like the last photo at the airport window.
Yes, I'm ready to blog.
She doesn't speak much. She likes to say “no” alot. And she imitates me snoring, which is weird because I do not snore.
Beautiful pictures. Hope you all had a fabulous time! Good luck on getting the little one back on schedule. I remember last year after a week in Los Altos it took us a little while to get our toddler back on track…but I definitely didn't mind waking up later in the morning East Coast time when we came back. 🙂
I have a large nose too. Fortunately, I like big noses.
awww, looks like a great time!!! Love your daughters curls! Adorable!!!
I'm with ya. Traveling with children = not fun by definition. Good luck getting back on the schedule soon. I LOVE her curls!
glad you had an awesome trip – and remind me not to have that painter paint my nose. It is large enough as is 😀
Oh sweetie that looks like so much fun and what beautiful artwork!
Welcome back! Looks like such fun. Get some good rest!
Welcome home! Hope you can get a break and rest up a bit.
xo
Awesome pics! I'm glad you all had a good time and made it home safely.
Wanted to tell you that the post of the Disappearing Face is still something that runs through my mind several times a week. It was just amazing!
Welcome back!
I'm tired too. Last night there was a party below us. Couldn't sleep in our bedroom, finally we moved our pillows on living room sofa at 4 am…First thing we heard in the morning was a dog barking at 7:30 – the same which barked yesterday almost all day long with 6-8 other dogs…Yesterday was very stressful…
She'll be back into the old routine soon. Glad to hear you had a good trip and made it back home safely.
great pictures! 🙂
Love the pictures. Can't wait for I comment therefore I am again!
Hello!! It was wonderful meeting you at the QRV event. After visiting your blog, I now feel very privileged to have done so. Great times! Even though I left my big kids at home, I too feel exhausted!
Mujer, the pleasure was all mine. I just stopped by your blog to follow. I'll be stalking you – in a nice friendly way.
Isn't traveling with a toddler super fun? LOL!
awesome pics!!! love the one at the airport!!!You not going anywhere right?
I have been taking a class so my blogging has all but vaneeshed!!LOL!!!Love u Mami
Your photos make me want to visit Miami. Never gave it any thought before.
I comment and you exist; you comment and I exist. Sounds a bit circular to me.
Good to see you back with pictures.
Yeah, traveling with toddlers is a big production. . .
Glad to have you back!! Hope you are getting back into the swing of things. We returned from a short trip almost a month ago and I just unpacked our suitcase yesterday, if that makes you feel any better… BTW. I loved all these photos. But they made me miss Celia Cruz. Big time.
Looks like fun, but I can definitely understand the exhaustion! I didn't go anywhere this week and my toddler has me beat 😛
It's all one big circle!
Celia Cruz and Mario Moreno were big in our house growing up. Love the photos!
