I’ve always resisted change. Of course, I’ve tried to frame it in a positive light, arguing that I was steadfast and determined as opposed to stubborn and set in my ways. The thing is you can’t fight change; it will happen whether you like it or not. For example:
On October 5, 2007, after 7 years of blissfully living in sin, my better half and I decided to make it official. Why?
It just felt right.
Today, we revisited City Hall with our 9 month old daughter…
…and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the changes in my life…
…in our lives.
Change is good!

How precious! Thanks for sharing your beautiful moment with us and congrats.
What sweet photos! SOMEtimes change is good. Change that, as you said, ‘just feels right’. Sometimes change is still scary…
For me, some of the changes that I was most scared of turned out to be, when I let them, the biggest catalysts for growth, and some of the greatest sources of happiness. I was terrified of becoming a single mother, and yet it has been the most wonderful experience of my life. Thanks for sharing this!
Is the little 9-month already walking?
No she's not walking yet, just practicing standing.
Cute baby butt with cute baby jean pockets!
How sweet! Walking away from sin is always great. I did it back in Feb 07. Sadly though, I lost all my 'wedding pics'; my hard drive died =(Great faceless pics by the way lol!!
