Daiso (Sundays In My City)

Daiso at Serramonte Center
Washi tape
Washi Tape from DaisoMade a run to the Daiso store at Serramonte Center to stock up on washi tape because when the zombie apocalypse happens I don’t want to forgo cute masking tape. In case you don’t know what washi tape is; it’s a decorative Japanese masking tape made out of paper that you can use to decorate just about anything. I use it to decorate my planner. My girls make art projects out of it. I’ve even used it to spruce up the frame on a found dry erase board.

We have these stores in Sydney but I’ve never shopped there. I must go in and have a look.

So, I thought you said wassabi tape and I thought, “I’ve never heard of wassabi tape but it sounds much easier than squeezing out paste…I need to get some!” And it made sense since you were going to a Japanese store. Now I’m somewhat bummed that there is no wassabi tape 🙁

Washi tape sounds like so much fun Claudya! I’d love some! I haven’t seen it in stores here. So now my biggest worry is: What will I do when Zombie Apocalypse strikes?

I’d never heard of these stores, but that’s not surprising since I live in a very rural area. I’m going to Seattle next weekend for an art class and….they have a few there! Can’t wait, thanks for sharing!
