I am excited to announce that I have partnered with Family Dollar and even have a post up on their site with probably the easiest Day of the Dead Catrina makeup tutorial you will ever come across.
The truth is that when they approached me about writing a Catrina makeup how-to post I was more than a little scared because I’ve never actually done Catrina makeup all on my own and my makeup skills are not like WOW, but you guys Family Dollar has these Day of the Dead temporary tattoos (kind of like decals for your face) and if you combine them with the Deluxe Family Make Up Kit you need zero skills to transform you favorite child or adult into a Catrina or Catrin for Diá de los Muertos.

I put together this collage so you could get an idea of how easy it was to turn my eldest into a Catrina. I actually like the way the decals look on their own, but of course you can add the white face paint to give it more of a traditional bone white calaca look.
