I have a problem. It’s not a big problem, but it is a problem nonetheless and it involves dish towels. Yes, dish towels. I love them, I use them, I have an abundance of them. I need them! But they end up in random spots in my kitchen and I end up scratching my head not knowing whether they are dirty and need to be washed or are still usable.
I have a drawer I put them in when they have just been laundered, the problem starts when I or someone else takes them out of the drawer, then what? Where should they go when they are still clean? Sometimes I use them to dry dishes and then I want to dry them so that I can use them again because if they were used to dry clean dishes, surely they are still clean enough to use.
I told you it’s not a big problem, but it is a problem I deal with regularly. I’ve done things like hang them from hooks on the fridge, which is by my sink area, but I don’t really love the way it looks, then one day I went into my Lowe’s storeand found something I never even knew existed.
They are called sash magnetic rods. How did I not know such a thing existed? Apparently, I don’t get out much.
Now because of this simple and creative storage solution, I have an easy and attractive way to hang my dish towels on the side of the fridge.
I know it’s a little thing, but sometimes it’s all about the little things in life.

How did I go so long without knowing about them?

You had me at using gloves…

Haha…I have to. My skin gets so dry if I don’t use gloves.

I love dish towels, too! But my 3 year old uses them to cover up her dolls when they “go to bed”. I’ve just given up. lol
