Even If You Didn’t Win, You Can Still Have a Winning Attitude #Positivismo #BillboardLatino

A hearty congratulation to all the artists that won at Billboard Latin Music Awards this year. I hope you had fun. You deserve to be recognized for your strengths. To those that were nominated and didn’t win, you are all still winners, and you are all still recognized for your talent. I hope you had fun too and remember that you have lost absolutely nothing. Not winning does not mean you are not a winner. You can have a winning attitude no matter what.

Billboard Jessica Carillo

It’s all about perspective; it’s all about seeing the glass as half-full even when others insist on pointing out that it is half-empty.

Positivity begets positivity. There are things you can do to help yourself be positive:

  • Notice the positive. Focus on it, embrace it, and be grateful.
  • Take care of yourself: physically, mentally, and emotionally.
  • Sleep enough. Get some rest.

I can talk a good game, but I too sometimes fall prey to a negative attitude. Lately though, life keeps showing me that positivity abounds and it is wrong not to notice it and not to embrace it.

Life truly is abundant. Okay, I’m about to get positively goofy on you. See there is so much that goes on in the world that is not positive, that it becomes easy to focus on that, to dwell on that, but just give it a moment and someone or something else will come along and remind you that there is far more good in the world than not. Latch on to that positivity, celebrate it, embrace it, pass it on.

This is part of a sponsored campaign with the California Milk Processor Board and Latina Mom Bloggers. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
