You guys, I have a thing for wood and I’m not trying to be risqué or naughty here, I’m talkin’ wood, the kind that comes from trees. I not only love it for building ridiculously useful things like homes or furniture, I love it for accessories too. I’m talkin’ shoes with wooden heels, LOVE THEM! Rings made out of wood, LOVE THEM! And now, that I know they exist, I LOVE JORD Wood Watches.
I was given the opportunity to try out the JORD Fieldcrest in Maple and it is so me! Perhaps it might be very you, too. Let me tell you a little bit about it.
- It’s a very nice watch that looks great on both a man or a woman.
- It’s very lightweight and comfortable.
- It’s splash proof, but not waterproof…so don’t try to go deep sea diving with it.
- You can remove some links from the watch to make is smaller. I removed two and it fits perfectly now. JORD recommends that you take the watch to a local jeweler to have it sized, but I am the proud owner of a set of teeny tiny screwdrivers so I went all DIY on it and found it to be quite simple. I do appreciate my brother’s tip of putting a towel under my work space so no pieces would get lost in the process.
I love this watch. I thought the color might be too similar to my skin color and make me look like I have a watch-sized growth on my wrist, but I actually love the way the wood compliments my skin and the watch goes with pretty much everything that I own.
