Five Questions

In an effort to get to know more about her fellow bloggers, Laura at Under the Sheets-shhh has posed the following 5 questions:

1) What topic would you write your book about?

I’m not sure that I’ll ever write a book, but if I did it would probably be a play about my mother. My mother drives me absolutely crazy, but I love her and I think she is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. She is from Mexico and has a 6th grade education. When she moved to the U.S. she won a contest sponsored by Burgie Beer and used the winnings to go to cosmetology school. She raised two children on her own. She is beautiful and hilarious, narcissistic and generous. I could go on, but you’ll just have to read my play or come see me star in it as my mother. I do a pretty good impersonation of her, accent and all.

2) What is one of your guilty pleasures?

Hhhmm, there are so many. Laying in bed, drinking coffee and reading magazines. Shopping. Telling dirty jokes. Burping louder than a truck driver.

3) What are some of the things you do to get yourself out of a bad mood?

If I’m a bad mood it’s usually for a reason and I just deal with the reason; whether it means confronting someone or making a change in myself.

4) How long do you think it will take to get the U.S. economy back on track?

Wow, people far more qualified than I have no idea how long it will take to get out of this mess. I just hope we get through it without too much devestation.

5) Do you think there is a fine line between creepy and romantic?

Why do you ask? Have you been talking to my ex? I don’t think it’s stalking if I happen to be in the neighborhood and like to sleep in the car. And I wasn’t trying to go through all of his stuff; I just couldn’t find my keys and I thought they might be in his underwear drawer where he keeps his journal.

Wonderful answers sweetie and thank you for playing along. And yes it is stalking!! But they say that admitting it can be the first step to acceptance. Happy Friday…

Oh no that's not stalking at all. LOL.I remember stories about your mom and she is a riot, that would be a great play.
