Hola Chulas y Chulos! How are my favorite hijos de la chanclada doing on this the second Friday of the year? Have you settled into 2016 yet or are you still stuck in 2015 mode? Perhaps a little smack from The Flying Chancla Report is just what you need right about now. Let’s see what my intrepid chancla has found while scouring the internet on your behalf…

Okay, so my husband REALLY does not want me or my chancla to tell you about this Esty shop because he’s terrified that it will blow up with business and he won’t be able to get any orders in, but my chancla and I CANNOT keep something this good to ourselves. It’s not right and anyway, I want to send business this shop’s way because I am beyond satisfied with my purchases thus far. The Etsy shop is called The Leather Store and it features handcrafted leather bags for incredible prices. It’s in the UK, but I have to tell you that both of our purchases got to us incredibly fast and the shipping was totes reasonable. Ready to see what I got?

- Over where my chancla and I are, it’s been a tad on the rainy side thanks to El Niño, who should really change his name to El Viejo because he’s been around for like ages now. Since we’ve been spending a lot of time indoors we played around and made some more memes. Enjoy and share!

- This is an oldie by internet standards, but a goodie. It’s been around for around eight years and recently it’s been making the social media rounds again. It’s “The One Semester of Spanish Love Song” and it’s pretty funny.

- Of course there was a “2nd Semester of Spanish, Spanish Love Song” and it stars Erik Estrada bwahahaha…
- If you’re looking for a “cleanse” that you can actually stick to, I wrote about the new book, “The Taco Cleanse” over at Latinamom.me. Written by self-described “taco scientists” the book is amusing and pokes fun at the diet industry while giving you over 75 recipes for vegan tacos and margaritas. I have no problem eating tacos morning, noon and night so bring it!
That’s it for this week’s The Flying Chancla Report. I love you mucho and remember, spread love, not chanclazos!
