The Universe and I have a standing date each week wherein I write down what I would like the Universe to send my way and the way of others who have been courageous enough to share their wishes with me. I know there are people who are like, “OMG, wishing doesn’t do a damn thing. You have to work for what you want and I’m such a master of the obvious that you should just do what I say because it’s so OBVIOUS.” To that I say, “No, DUH?!” Of course you have to work toward the things you want, but wishing is the beginning of it all; it’s what sets the process in motion. It’s what gets you to focus on what you want.
Here’s what I’m wishing for this week…
Wishes for myself:
- What’s up, Big U? I’m feeling beat down. I know it’s only temporary, but right now I’m like DAYUM. Send me some positive news, give me reasons to celebrate and help me remember to acknowledge the everyday wonders and blessings that surround me.
- $$$$$$
- Send me readers who relate to my writing and share the funk out of my posts.
- A wonderful summer break spent with my daughters.

Wishes for others:
- Mari is having difficulty staying positive nowadays. I’m over here like, “Mhmm, I heard that!” Do like I want you to do for me: make Mari hyperaware of all the wonderfulness that is already surrounding her, remind her that everything is temporary and that this too shall pass.
- Martha needs a little sumthin’ sumthin’ in the finances department. She recently moved and could use an economic boost. I don’t know how you are going to do it, but send some money her way.
- Eileen wants safe travels to Florida and for her son Carter to ride well and be safe at the South East Regional Championship. Make this proud mama smile so much that her face hurts.
- Réne’s quads have been feeling the burn of her workouts lately. She’s wishing for the pain to go away. Every time she feels a workout-related ache let it fill her with pride because she’s changing her body for the better and challenging herself.
- Mar is all about love and happiness. More love and more happiness, please.
- Maybelline’s hubby is driving back home from Key West. He will be hauling his 18-foot trailer. Keep him safe on his journey. Let the weather be fair, the roads be clear and the trip be uneventful in the best possible way.
- Richard wants more fun and less work. Hell yeah! Richard deserves ALL the fun.
- Send Neyssa so many clients that she actually has to turn some down. Abundance, baby!
- Sharice is all determination and hard-work, reward her with success beyond her imagination.
- There is a certain someone who shall remain nameless, but you know who I’m talkin’ about Universe. She needs your help something bad. The last few years have been rough and she’s feeling like hope is beyond her. Please restore her hope and faith. Help her sell her home. Surround her with supportive friends that make up for her unsupportive family. Bless her with health.
