Fort Mason in the Marina District of San Francisco served as an army post for over 100 years. Now, it is a nonprofit called Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC). All kinds of events, performances, exhibits and happenings occur here. It’s right along the San Francisco Bay so you get gorgeous views.
We were there recently for an event that was held at Pier 3 in the Festival Pavillion and when we were done with the event, I had to walk around a bit because the place is fantastic. There is so much to look at and enjoy.
