Guess who has a voice over audition? Me! Yup. I haven’t been on an audition in what feels like forever. I’m looking forward to it. It will be a chance to be a tiny bit creative and remember that I am an actor even though I haven’t been acting lately.
Do doctors stop being doctors when they no longer practice medicine?

Here’s a Friday Fortune Cookie for you (don’t forget to add “in bed” at the end, if you are so inclined):
He who laughs last is laughing at you.
(maybe I’ll make this Friday Fortune Cookie thing a regular feature…what do you think?)
Cute version of the 12 Days. Good luck on your audition. I hope you get it!
Now that’s tropic version if I ever heard one.
I hope your audtion goes well and you get the part.
The song is very cute and very tropical.
you do the “in bed” thing too. That’s usually much more fun.
Thanks for the 12 Hawaiian days – It appears the author may have lost enthusiasm or ideas about number 10.
What would you do with 11 missionaries but I guess I would not know what to do with 11 pipers piping but I do have a leak that could use 11 plumbers piping.
Love the song; fortune cookie idea is good.
that song is great! my mom lives in hawaii and i love listening to pidgin!
Good luck with the audition!
This post made me want to spend Christmas in the islands. Good luck at the audition!
I like your Christmas song! Very cool, but what does one do with that many missionaries?
Knock ’em dead at the audition!
Have a blessed Holiday Season!
I love the song, and the fortune cookie!
Congratulations on your audition!!!
Love the 12 days of Christmas song – hilarious!
good luck with the audition! sounds exciting!
betty
Very cute song! Break a leg on your audition!
Congrats on the audition and good luck (or should that be break a leg? it doesn’t seem to work for a voice over…)
I rather suspect doctors never stop being doctors. I do know teachers never stop being teachers – I have a whole bunch of them among my relatives, including my mum and retirement doesn’t seem to tone down the teacheriness at all 🙂
Howdy Ms Unknown Mami 🙂
Papi must be cute singing the song to you. All the best in your audition. My son told me that George Lucas had trouble getting funding for Star Wars until 20th Century Fox finally and reluctantly accepted it.
Hey! So nice to hear from you. I hope you are doing well. As always, I am sending positive thoughts to you and your family.

Have you ever heard the 12 Days of Christmas by Bob & Doug McKenzie? Always makes me smile.
I love that song!
Good luck on your audition!
Good luck on the audition & what a cute song.

Yes, keep the fortune cookie! And thank you for the new song!
Hello there lovely!
1.) I love that little Hawaiian version of 12 days!
2.) I know you will nail this auditon
3.) I always enjoy an opportunity for a dirty fortune cookie, sooo bring it!
4.) I read your post before this about the young couple and it made my heart go pitter-pat…you da bomb.
Hope your weekend is swell girl!
Best,
Tina
If you make the audition will you post the commercial?
I hope you get the part! Cute version of the song…might have to sing it with my little’s…fortune cookies words are so much better when you …in bed to the end. Happy Friday!
omg, you make me crack up. LMAO! good for you on the voice over job. hope you and the lil one are doing ok, did you make an online name for her yet?
Yeah for Mami! And I love the fortune cookie.
That song is awesome! Now the marriage makes total since.
I almost put the fortune cookie fortune that I received yesterday in my Friday Fragments LOL Instead I put it on my Facebook status. The 12 days of Christmas song was funny – but I got a bigger laugh that beer was in the mix.
fingers crossed for you 🙂
I like the fortune cookie one the best; it made me laugh (after I added the ‘in bed’ part, of course). Congrats on getting voice audition, too! Way cool.
Break a leg at the audition!
What a great song, huh? It made me smile.
Have a fab weekend! jj
That song is brilliant!
Exacto! It is brilliant 🙂
Wait for it… I have the Chicano version that myself and another blogger wrote coming up soon.
LOVE the “in bed” reference; that was awesome.
The poem/song is sweet.
Knock ’em dead in your audition! I would love to hear that if you put it in a format I can listen to.
Yes! I love fortune cookies, and I always add “in bed” to the end because I’m way mature!
Congrats on the audition!
That song is so different. Actually it’s fun seeing it like that! Hooray for the audition, break a leg!
YAY for the audition!!! Good luck to you 🙂
I think the Friday fortune cookie thing is adorable. Does this mean that you get to eat Chinese EVERY Friday? If so, I am SUPPPAH jealous!
I always thought it was, “He who lasts laughs didn’t get the joke”, lol.
Oh, I like your version!
An audition for a voice over? How does that happen? Well good luck and can’t wait to hear how it goes.
As for the doctor fragment: I have no idea. I do know some shouldn’t even be practicing even though they are doctors…and that’s all I gots to say about that!
I hope your audition goes well and you knock it out of the park! : )
I love that fortune. In bed, or out!
That song is priceless! Congrats on your audition, hope it goes well.
Loved this! 🙂
OOO good luck with the audition… and the song is very cute!
Hey! I am not funny in bed! Grr!
Maybe not, but funny things happen to you in bed.
LOVE the song!!! We may have to sing it this year.
Oh…..how did the audition go? Was it fun?
