Are you on Twitter? If the answer is yes and you don’t already follow me, why not click on this lovely link and follow me? I don’t tweet much, but when I do I might just blow your mind with beauties like this…
- Don’t think about chocolate!… Are you thinking about chocolate?… Do you see how I can control your mind?
Don’t worry, I won’t always control your mind with my tweets or will I? Cue evil laughter…
Every time my daughter, Put Pie, masters a new skill I am unbelievably proud. The previous sentence would have been true a few weeks ago, but it is no longer accurate. You see my two and half year old daughter has become an expert tantrum thrower. I am not in the least bit proud or fond of this newfound skill of hers. I’m afraid to write the next bit because I might jinx it, but so far she has only thrown these tantrums at home. I feel terrible for our neighbors and am about to buy them all earplugs. Please let this stage pass quickly.
I gave birth to our youngest daughter, Luna Pie, six weeks ago. I started exercising again this week and I’m so excited. I’m not doing much just a few minutes a day on my stationary bike, but it is so nice to have a few minutes a day to focus entirely on my well being. I exercised regularly (pretty much every day) the last 4 months of my pregnancy and I’m telling you I can tell it made my recovery easier.
Did you notice? I finally decided on a bloggy name for our second daughter. It ended up being a toss up between Tiny Toes and Luna Pie, but we call her Luna Pie more often so it won and I’m sure her toes won’t always be as tiny as they are now.
And now your Friday Fortune Cookie (don’t forget to add “in bed” at the end, if you are so inclined):
Proper planning prevents piss poor performance.

Put pie is in good company. My lovely niece has mastered that great skill and her parents are “over” her cuteness. Since I don’t have to deal with it, I think she’s brilliant.

Luna Pie!! I love it…:)

I LOVE the name Luna Pie! Like moon pie, with a Latina twist.
I’m pretty much always thinking of chocolate, no danger there, and I’m already following you on Twitter. (I’m not there much myself)
Have a wonderful weekend!

I am toying with Twitter, so I will follow that link and let you control my mind 🙂
It must feel great to be back to exercising. It makes such a difference, doesn’t it?

Love the bloggy name Luna Pie! In my head (whenever I think of her and wonder how she’s doing, so thankful that she has a kidney and is here!) I call her Pit Pat or Milagros! But I so love Luna Pie!
Yipppeee for exercising!

Those tantrums are not fun….my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter has gotten good at them lately also.
Glad you are taking a few minutes a day just for you.

Luna Pie is gorgeous~

I did notice the name and was waiting to hear what we would be calling her 🙂
I followed you. I don’t tweet often, but I like to think that I might tweet more often. It’s a pipe dream really.

Your fortune cookie wisdom today should be plastered on the wall at my office!

You got a new Follower! Luna Pie reads perfect!

I suspect Put Pie’s tantrums are here way of expressing her mixed feelings about Luna Pie. I have a niece who has a two and a half year old and a new baby and is experiencing similar events.

Luna Pie – great pick – better than moon pie not that was even in the running. Did you know (I just found out this morning) that the lunar distance will be the closest in 18 years tomorrow. The moon’s orbit is at its perigee so it looks brighter and bigger. Suggest you put those details down in her baby book if you keep those. When she is 18 and the moon is close again it will make for an interesting topic.

hahahaha, i had to laugh about your 5 P’s, we use that in the military all the time. usually when we are lecturing lower enlisted for stupidity.
i like luna pie, it is adorable!! my daughter was also a huge fit thrower. it was just no fun. her fits and total stubborn attitude shut off at age 4. now we are hoping our mischievous younger boy will give up his crazy behavior at that age too…. but i am so nervous that he won’t. i hope you stay in the clear of public tantrums, they are so embarrassing.

Moon Pie, I mean, Luna Pie. Nice!!

I know all about the tantrums. Ugh. Love the name Luna Pie. I’ve missed visiting here. Thank you for thinking of me. XX

Temper tantrums rock when they’re other people’s kids… actually, wait, no not even then…

Love the name for the little one! I exercised through my whole 3rd pregnancy, too and it made a world of difference! I was up moving around just a few hours after he was born and wasn’t in much pain at all. I started doing my WATP videos about 3 weeks after he was born. It’s amazing. 🙂
Jean says
Luna Pie! That is darling! Yes, I did notice. I was going to say something and then you did.
Tantrums are not so darling. Hope that passes quickly.

I’m already following you on twitter but I never get on there. I just can’t seem to find my twitter mojo. Have you seen it?
unknownmami says
I might have stepped on your mojo the last time I was there. I don’t think I hurt it much, it was just sort of laying there.

It didn’t hurt a bit because I never used it!

It’d been so long since I’d been in the blogging world. Congrats on your newest addition. I’ve never had a baby but I hope to become as motivated as you to exercise. I’m in much need of it.

I like the name Luna Pie!! this too will pass with the tantrums with Put Pie. Just be consistent and dont’ let her get away with (too) much and it should be smooth sailing until perhaps the teen years???
